I just wanted to share how much my chicks have been enjoying this new Starter I found.
Unlike other Starters, this is shaped in tiny balls. They love their tiny balls!
They knew instantly it was food - no scattering needed. It's dust-free, no irregular shapes to be ignored and wasted.

The 24% protein and 0.5% Methionine, along with extra Thiamine, Vit E, and Selenium, are good for any chicks.
NatureWise branded this as being for Silkies, Bantams, and Ornamental chicks... but my much larger chicks are growing fast on it and seem to have improved vigor. I'll use it for the first few weeks until they get to that really messy age, then switch to the All-Flock everyone else is on.

Thanks! Read about it and understand that extra protein gives silkies healthy fuller plumage.
