my chicks!!

Well my baby chicks gave me a surprise today...they can fly out of their box...i walked into my laundry rood and there was poop everywhere!! and two chicks flying all over the place! little stinkers! so now ive go to get them settled in an outside pen! go figure im working on the bog coop! Lord help me I'm killing myself building this dang coop!

Do like I do---put a window screen over their brooder or some bird netting. Chicks can fly after them wing feathers grow out. I have never kept any in the house----so if I had them in the house---I to would want them little stinkers outside ASAP. LOL

I've used a window screen over my brooder also, it's keeps things ventilated and you can easily see through it.

Oh yes, tonight is the last 30 degree night for a while so im going to try and get them in the outside chick pen today! They are a handful, and they stink! LOL

I've got some bird netting waiting for just that day to come. Aren't surprises so much fun?

oh yes...its always a surprise with my girls...and I love it!
