yeah that's what i thought too bout their feathers i have some that aint even got many or any tail feathers yet slowly growing and i figured they was roosIt is really too early to tell for sure. From my experience the females usually start to develop their tail feathers first.
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
