My Chocolate Pied Scovies Are Comming!!!!

Well I finally got some pictures of the scovies I'm adopting!!

These are the hens im picking from, I'm getting two and the guy has more hens but these are the patterns he has :

Oh, and is it just the picture or do the carnucles look a little pale??

They look very pale, almost orange. Sidney's looked like that when he was sick & couldnt walk & the girls did the same thing after the goose attack. Sid's are like blood red now that hes all better.

It could just be from being stuck in cages but I would quarantine just in case. Of all the birds i have ever had muscovies have had the least amount of problems but I would hate for it to make your others sickly.


PS... I REALLY love the one in the second pic! VERY PRETTY!!

The caruncling does look pale but they've most likely come off a molt and have been stressed. It definitely never hurts to quarantine; are they rescued birds or from an owner who should be taking care of them? Their past environment would definitely have something to say about their current condition. When you get them, might be a good idea to go ahead and worm them with Wazine or something like that just in case while they're in quarantine.
