I'm Wendy. Hello fellow chicken lovers! I have a Polish Rooster and Polish Hen, a White Silkie Rooster, a Blue Silkie Rooster, 2 Black Silkie Roosters and 3 other Hens I'm not sure of type off the top of my head. I love and micro manage my flock, making sure everyone stays sweet to each other! Oh, and I'm a great Rooster picker when they are 2 days Old! Lol!!

I'm not a great rooster picker, but I did manage to choose three drakes out of my first four runner ducklings.

Crap! (Litterally!) I forgot Little Bugz! She is my Blue Silkie Hen and became lame (possibly fell or got knocked off the ramp in the coop) about a year ago. Well, I took her to the Vet, and he thought possibly fractured leg? At any rate, she is now in good heath and shows no signs of it! Except for the fact that Little Bugz is now a house Hen! After being kept in the house while injured for months, I feared she would get bullied. She is out of her pen all the time, just need to have my nephew on POOP PATROL! She even went to the beach with us for a few days. She loved the sand and Razor Clam shells!

The Polish are so sweet! So are the Silkie's! Mr Polish sticks up for Mr Snowman (white Silkie rooster). They are best buds, so long as they are not out together with with the hens!
