My coop a few pics

So i built my coop from scratch, think i did a good job, by myself and first time really building something that was functional. These pictures are before the 12X12 run i built around it. I know the more space the happier the chicks are. But i don't have the type of neighborhood to let them run around free..

One thing I would suggest is a more secure lock on the chicken door.

yeah have had them since may, finally got around to posting the coop.

Why do you think i need stronger locks, it seems pretty secure, plus i have an extra strip of 2X4 surround the door for support also prevents it from being pulled/pushed, i also have a spring latch on the egg box. Are raccoon's that strong?

They like to mess with stuff so i think they could get your door latches open easy. Looks good btw.

Raccoons are masters at breaking and entering. Dont underestimate them! I would put another lock on the doors that cannot be fiddled with by the coons. Oh...you did a real nice job on that coop! Your cheeps will be very happy in there!
