My coop any suggestions?

I have 2 week old chicks here is what they are staying in. The top part of this coop. The bottom will be locked and closed till they are out and on their own. All the openings have 1/2"x1/2" wire covering.

Looks good! I would suggest putting a bottom on it and getting it off the ground so you can access it easier.

I'm short, about 5' so it's no problem for me to get in, does the flooring look good? I'm doing half cardboard box and leaving the other half wire. CL has free boxes all the time so that's not issue. Also I'm renting and this is the landlords coop from his chickens way back when, I do not want to put that much money into it, just repairs.

Yes, indeed, raise it off the ground 24 inches and save your back.

For flooring, linoleum cleans easily and a scrap piece can be had for free sometimes.....
