My coop rebuild. (Warning lots of pics)

Well my the walls on the old barn I was using as a coop were rotted so a rebuild was needed. I tried to take as many pics as I could but I also had to get the work done before dark, and in Northern Michigan that comes fast this time of year.

I had to make sure the chickens would have a place to stay for the night so anything we took down had to be put back up same day.

I need to separtate my ducks from the chickens. My roosters were trying to kill my drake, poor thing has a gash on his head from being attacked.

Okay, I have a dumb question: How do you keep your "duck pond" from freezing in the cold of winter? Or does it matter? I'm just curious.
