My coop under construction

Here is my coop its not quite finished yet.
They seem to like it so far.

Looks nice and roomy. Those girls are going to love it. What is the smaller unit on the outside of it with light yellow siding?

Ahh - thought maybe you had rigged it so the eggs would roll into the box and you could collect them without going into the coop.

That's what I need to do with my new coop I plan on building in the spring.

Do the girls like the crates for nesting boxes? Do they work out well for you? Any problems with there not being a top to prevent them from roosting/pooping in them?
