Here are my 20 cornish so far. I have 12 that are around twelve days old....and 8 that are around four days old. They are allowed out on grass whenever it is warm enough and are allowed 24/7 feed right now. They are on 20% crumble and doing great. Hope you all like the pics tryed to get pics at all stages so far and size comparisons. They are going to the butcher May 31! He can do a bird a minute for 2 bucks...I can't argue with that!

good luck!!

I'm smack dab in the middle of the State. Also I actually don't think they are eating really all that much. Getting them out on the grass I think helps with that. Keeps them busy instead of just sitting and eating. The big guys go through about maybe 1-2 of the 12 inch red chick feeders a day right now...and the little guys don't even make it through a single 8 hole chick base.

bja105- I used to live in New Ken! Been buying my feed at TSC in Butler. So far its the only place I have found Purina.

Thanks everyone....I'm happy with their growth rate for sure. They are Mt.Healthy chicks. Got them from my local TSC. Picked up 100 chicks for them but just came home with the 12...then picked up another 8. I'm trying to stick with what I wanted to do in the beginning by getting them outside and on grass as much as possible! So far the weather has cooperated for that!
