my turkey, oh how i love my turkey!
and so i must tell you my turkey story of the day, today i was showing my friend how to hypnotize a chicken, well i caught baby (one of turkeys brooder mates) and as i was holding her on the ground, preparing to draw the three magical mesmerizing lines, baby protested, and turkey came to the rescue! she came up and got right in my face and in no uncertain terms said "what the fudge are you doing to MY friend!!!
" so there i was, dumbfounded and amazed,
with Ron telling me "ummm i think maybe you should let baby go now!" as he almost peed himself laughing
now.... it should be known that turkey is the sweetest, most personable turkey the creators has EVER made, so this caught me TOTALY off guard, and well if you know me, you would know, i live to have those moments when my preconceived notions get shattered and this was one of those moments! i was so proud of turkey, standing up to me like she did, to defend her friend! certainly not the dumb and clueless bird I've always been told would someday drown in the rain!
but the courageous and brave guardian of my flock! i just love her, and i am just so proud of her, i know this all sounds so dorky but I JUST DONT CARE! i love my turkey!!!
