My cross-beak hen isn’t growing

Over a year ago I bought some Sapphire Gem chicks and one of them developed scissor or cross beak. The hen has been able to eat fine in container with high walls. She also drinks water with ease as well. However, I’ve noticed that she hasn’t gained any weight and she’s almost a year old without laying any eggs. I give wet food but that doesn’t seem to work.
Any suggestions to help my hen grow?

Hello, and welcome to BYC. In addition to the cross beak it is possible that she may have other congenital problems that are limiting her growth. Vitamin supplementation might help.

I've had a couple of cross beak hens before and to keep weight on them I fed them a high-protein turkey starter wet mash in a deep dish and dry turkey starter in another deep dish. Maybe try that and start weighing her once a week on a food scale and see if she starts gaining weight.
