My cuyoga duck has a big swelling on her head

It's a huge growth and has been there now for a couple of months. It doesn't seem to bother her at all but I was wondering, since it doesn't seem to be going away, if it would be advisable to try lancing it. Has anybody ever had anything like this happen to their ducks?

I have not had this on my ducks.

Could be a tumor, infection, ingrown feathers (there is a different term I cannot recall).

Have you treated it? Did it grow fast or slow?
