Several weeks ago a posted a post on her. she had I think some kind of seisure, last night when they went to bed she was fine and when I went out this morning to let them out she was dead? I buried her out back in the woods but I feel very sad about losing her. I did check her body over and there was no peck marks, nothing. Nobody out there is sick, no coughing, no runny eyes or nose, I just don't know, about the only conclusion I can figure out is that she might have had another seisure in the night,
Im going to miss her! She was a very sweet girl! This was her just yesterday.

Thankyou everyone, Its amazing how attached you can get to these little ones, This was my first loss, and I hope I don't have anymore for a long time, I know it sounds kinda funny but I have always counted heads every night even though they don't free range, but everytime I go out and look it just seems like someone is missing, and then I remember Stella isn't there, and Im sad all over again, Im just going to have to learn how to deal with this, its part of life but it is soooo hard. My kids don't understand, they say Mom its just a chicken, but they didn't feed her and clean up after her and chase the other chickens away from her if they were picking on her. So I guess they just would have no way of knowing how Im feeling.

So sorry for all the whining and crying on your shoulders, but just had to get that off my chest. Thanks for listening.
