This morning when I went to feed our BOs, NHRs and Delawares I found the chicks picking on the 2 Delaware's tail feathers. I will say that when I bought the Delawares last week it appeared that they had been previously pecked in this same area but not to this extent. I have separated the 2 picked on chicks and treated them with neosporin and flock master. Now that they are separated they keep going after each others open area. They get along well otherwise, its just that they are attracted to the red blood. I have them under a red light thinking this might help also. I've never had this type of issue before. Should I separate them from each other and is there anything else as far as medication is concerned that I should be doing? I appreciate any advise.

Blu Kote (horse section) and if that doesn't work then pinless peepers. Most of the time blu kote works but be advised to wear old clothes while applying. This stuff stains and somehow gets everywhere but masks injury so it protects from pecking.

Thanks forever, it's working great. But what a mess!!
