Ok, so my DH just tolerates my chickens. He says he doesn't like them, and that they are "just" chickens. Does he really feel that way? Well if so, I don't know why he got me this

My dh is the same way. He says he doesn't like animals and I hear him talking to them. And he's the one who spotted the first peep!

He built me a coop beyond belief and now he's working on the pen for my little 2 week olds to graduate to in a couple of days.

Mines a keeper too!!!

Congratulations! I think we have a few DH's here (MINE, included) who could learn a thing or two from yours. I'll pm you our number!! LOL

I love it! Mine was the same way. He let me get the chicks, not happy about it but he loves me. He built me a wonderful coop and run but said that was it. He actually threatened to throw out those blasted chicks while building their coop because he got so frustrated with the costs.

Then, a few months after finishing the coop I find him standing at the window staring at the coop. He mumbled something about needing a bigger coop so we can get more chickens!!! I didn't even suggest it but you can bet I encouraged his thinking!

Gotta love these great guys!

Wow!!!! That is too cool!!!! Some serious tolerance he has going on there!!! LOL My poor husband honestly believes that if we have to move somewhere we can't have my chickens I will divorce him (we are military). I really hate to tell him different. Aren't men cute!!!!

How very sweet of your DH to bring home another coop. Maybe...he wants a flock of his own??? Might be a your/mine type coops! LOL
My DH always acts like he is no interested in the animals as well...unless he is alone with them! LOL
