[Break an Egg]

I woke up to alot of noise which I thought was a bad sign, so I grabbed the BB gun. I went outside with my dog and looked around. One of my chickens was out and she was running around. So I started looking around for a stay dog or cat that could be running around our backyard because it happens, we have a large backyard and we get cats in our yard once in a while. Well my dog was off to smell something and I was now looking up in our tree and the sky to see if there are any hawks around. Well my super smart dog walked up to me with an egg in her mouth and dropped it softly at my feet. I looked and was like wow she didn't break the shell or anything and it was still warm so I guess my chicken layed it and did her little (loud) celebration. lol

I have such a good dog.

1 your dog was not trying to disembowel the hen

2 he didn't devour the egg
my dog would have done all of the above

I'll bet you felt a little silly. Dogs have a way of doing that to us.

She is 100% potty trained, doesn't bark unless there are strangers walking up to our house, and loves the chickens, she actually munches on layer feed once in a while. She also is great to go camping with. She will guard our campsite very well. She also loves the kids, even my 3 yr old who loves to lay on her, and my dog is only 6 months old!
