So sorry about your bird's.The turkey wing may heal.We had a jake turkey last year that got hung on a Large nail after flying in rafter's and had been hanging possibly a couple hours, his wing was broken right in the joint where he hung.We wrapped his wing up close for a few weeks.It took him a while to recoup but he did fine.I have had dog attack's on ducks here some were salvaged other's were just left for dead or carried off.A lot of neighbors here have birds and dog owners are given fair warning.Just try keep the wound's clean and dry and keep them indoors if at all possible away from flie's since spring is here now.If the wound's seem really open and gaping try using an antibacterial spray insted of ointment for the first couple weeks.It's much less painlessfor them and does as good of a job.Then once scabbing form you can do ointment to soften the scar tissue.I have had to re-home a couple dog's here that people sadly dropped because they didnt get along with the bird's.I hope your bird's make it and maybe you can find a home for the dog too.Neighbors 2 labs killed one of my royals and well didnt see the duck's but about guess they took 14 ducks down in one morning and just killed and left laying.But I caught them in the turkey's and they attacked my neighbors dog twice ganged up on her with their other heeler and almost killed her here.The dog's are in doggie heaven now chasing duck's so...
