My drake killed a mouse?

Well Its been raining for the past week, and the mice have decided that my duck pen is a wonderful houseing area and that they are welcome - not.

I went outside to spread some corn around and was surprised with a dead mouse in the pen with two of my drakes.

Im pretty sure that they killed it. it was quiet beaten up, like it had been tossed a few times. My ducks have eaten baby mice that i know of - but not an adult.

Looks like i have my own little mouser

Will this harm my drake? I mean him killing it and all?

It is only a problem if they mouse ingested poison before. other than that he had a nive low carb , low fat and high protein snack.`

we dont set out poision, only those sticky traps. And i dont think any of my neighbors do.

I wish /I/ had a mousing duck! -gasp-
The only things that catch stuff around here is one of my cats, and my dog. The other cat is a useless vomit machine...

The dog's funny though, he'll stomp on it and pick it up, until it bites his lips or squeaks (ouch! poor thing... shouldn't have come to our yard!) then drops it and starts all over again.
