My duck dances for me when asked! video

The question is why does he do this dance though? Little background on Bug, he was raised in the house with us. He is the only one out of like 30 eggs that made it. He was recently put outside with the female duck. He still comes to me when I go outside & does this dance for me everytime I say his name and/or tell him to dance for me!

but again WHY???

I'm not totally sure, but it looks to me like he's courting you. Imprint males often think their human friends would make wonderful mates.

LOL that is so funny because I got to thinking that today when I was cleaning the rabbit pen & he comes up nibbles all over my back. He's always been a back nibbler while I was out cleaning coops & stuff. That explains a lot! He has a female duck, she's 1 1/2 yrs old but he won't breed with her even tho she spends every waking moment trying to get him to. He is 5 months old, & very large! He's my bug bug!
