My duck house gets really hot in summer

I made ventilation windows and holes all sides top middle and bottom too, but in winter I cover the bottom holes to stop draft . But isn’t draft a good thing to cool coop when it’s 90 degrees in the coop half hour after sunset?

can you share a photo? you are confusing draft with crossbreeze/ventilation. above their heads is good to have a breeze if it's really hot, yes, but not on them.

The horizontal boards near bottom of outside walls are covering drilled holes like the little circle drilled holes at the top on both sides @littlecoopnextdoor
