My duck seems to be having a hard time breathing

I have a 6 month old Khaki Kambell and she just started or at least its new to me , just started acting like shes having a hard time breathing , is this because she is about to lay a egg ?

It sounds more like a respiratory infection. I would get your duck on some meds ASAP.

Is she keeping her bill open. Does she make a wheezing sound. Trying bring her into a steamy room to see if it help alleviate the problem. If it does seem to be a respiratory problem them she will need antibiotics. Safe ones for ducks are terramycin or agramycin and Baytril. Good luck. Keep us updated.

Ya now on day two and she is keeping her mouth open and not because shes hot . And yes she wheezes and she just started getting really sketchy when ever i go near her ????

yeah i have a vet 20 miles from here that sees everything but horses !!!!


i do live in the country so anything is a drive LOL
