My duckling egg

Hi there,
I am wondering what to do for my duckling. I'm actually not completely sure how many days old my egg is, but I have had it for about 29-31 days, I just don't know when it was laid. The duckling looks fully formed, but the egg only moves slightly, and I am hearing no peeping. When I candle it, I can see it move, but only slightly, and I'm worried. Should I do something? I have raised MANY ducklings in the past but have never run into this problem. I really need answers. Anything will help!

Is your temp accurate? Is your thermometer calibrated? What breed is the baby? Muscovies take upwards of 35 days to hatch, so if it's one of those breeds it's doing fine.

Just be patient. Ducks take for ever to hatch.

It's a farm duck/mallard and those take roughly 28 days, but in the past, most of my ducklings hatch on the 27th to the 30th.

The temp is correct, but I am not sure if it is calibrated.

I would do a quick candling to get some answers.

What exactly would I be looking for if I calibrated it? Sorry, I don't totally understand what that is. :/

I candled the egg last night and I can see the beak hitting the shell, but there is still no pip, and when I candled it this morning, it's beak was still trying to hit the shell. It seems too weak.

UPDATE!

The egg has hatched very successfully and quickly. We had to make a safety hole, but after that, he did AMAZING! Thank you for all of your help!
