My duckling have started hatching

Hi all today I got up today to my ducklings hatching I thought I would share some pictures of the two that hatched

I will post some of the others when they hatch dian

Number three is out and I have three more with little holes started

They are cuties. I love baby ducks. What kind of ducks are they? Thanks so much for sharing their pics with us.

They are mixed magpie and Aylesbury but it was a runner duck that hatched them

Just curious here how come you took them away from the mother? My momma ducks would take my hand off if I tried.

Last year She had 15 duckling and she killed most of them so this year I have took half of them off her to give her a better chance and she is happy with just 6 baby's . She is quite happy with me going in and out of her home because i have brought her up from a duckling

I'm glad she's doing better with just the 6 babies. I understand why you would take the babies then to give them a better chance. They sure are cute. Do you have anymore pics of them? I know they grow so fast and enjoy your little ones.
