How did I miss this? sigh.

Sweet duckling, nice video.

At 18 days old, she may be ready to drop the heat down to 75. She looks great!

And I know I write this often, but please make sure that her area outside is going to protect her from predators, accidents, heat and cold.

I get so attached to ducks, and it is heartbreaking when some of them die because of a lack of understanding of the dangers they can fall prey to. Even the family cat, or the little cousin with big feet.

X2! And she is going to be very lonesome when you put her out side, please remember to spend lots of time with her after she goes out, they are very social animals. She is a doll.

I had her out in the living room and my 3 year old cousin kicked her sending her upside down and it scared her so bad she pooped all over her poor self.
But that was a week ago and she is still going strong!
I'll make sure she is safe and secure in her pin and any where else.
And I'll spend lots of time outside with her.
And I think she is cute too!

By the way . . . I had no prior knowledge of the cousin in this case. My own experience involved cousins allowing dogs into the brooder.
