my ducks are broody together?

Both my rouen and one of my pekin ducks seem to have gone broody! i was suprised to find the pekin sitting on the eggs because I've heard they're either terrible mothers or they end up being too heavy and crushing the eggs. But anyways a couple of days ago I saw that they were both sitting on the eggs. I thought the pekin was just laying an egg or something but when my rouen got up to eat and drink, the pekin stayed thee and when i went to refill the water she hissed at me. She has the same broody behaviors as the rouen but she isnt constantly on the nest like the rouen. shes on the nest on and off so is she jut helping warm the eggs or something? My rouen doesn't seem to mind when the pekin is on the nest. Is this normal?

That's really interesting. I've never heard of that. Maybe she's trying to be broody but doesn't know how to do it?
