In their hideout, we set it up so they have a fan going, cedar shavings over a rubber mat and underneath the mat is a waterproof 12ml tarp. I change the shavings daily. So its ok for them to have water and food 24/7.

I'd switch to pine shaving since cedar can cause respiratory issues in birds but it should be fine.
