my two ducks (they aren't the same breed) keep scratching and picking at their backs, so much that they've actually started scabs. I don't know how to help them, I've given them a bath every other day and it just won't stop.

Have you looked them over for parasites? mites and lice can be on poultry but usually water fowl can avoid them because they bath. Lice will be attached to the feather shafts close to the body and mites are tinier than blk pepper flakes and crawl so you'll really have to look for them. around the vent down the back under wings.

I looked again right after I posted this and they had mites, I got them de dust, how often can I put that on them? I really don't want anything to happen to them, they're my babies.

You will need to treat their bedding or get rid of it because their sleeping quarters will need to be treated also. Don't dump the bedding outside haul it off because the mites will be in the bedding too. But their house will be the big culprit treat all crevices and nest boxes etc. I use neem oil to spray down my houses.

How old are your ducks. and what are you using on them?
