My ducks stopped laying please help?

About a month or so ago my ducks started pulling feathers like crazy, soon after both of my hens stopped laying eggs. Will they start again or are they done for good. Help!!

They are molting. They will lay again in the fall. They need the energy and nutrients to make new feathers, so that is why they stop making eggs for a while. .

Maybe it is the heat?

Like HappyMtn said, it's molting. You always know it when you start seeing feathers flying. I'm having the same problem right now too.

If they are young and this is the first time they have gone through molt it could take them up to 6 months to start again. Some of mine did.
