my ducks stops laying egg

hi everybody,
I had two ducks. I used to have them from their early age. The male was Mallard and the female one was Ancona. but unfortunately the female died and I had to buy another female.
this female one was Mallard and the owner said it lays egg every day(the female mallard was 8 month with hatching eggs) but when I brought it to my house it lays egg every other day. and now it's around 3 days that she stopped laying egg. she isn't sick and her nutrition is fine also she didn't hide it either eat it.
by the way she mated with an ancona before but now she starts mating with my Mallard.

I don't think Mallards are very good egg layers. Someone more knowledgeable please comment but I would not expect a mallards to lay every day.

so do you think this interval is fine? Do you think if there is relation between the mating?As I lost one beloved female which I really loved. So I don't want her any problems

No relation to mating. Even if you have no drake, egg laying is not effected. Mallards are poor egg layers and also mostly seasonal egg layers. They are not the most domestic ducks. They will raise young which more domestic ducks are not good mothers.
