I have 4 female ducks along side 5 drakes. They are over a year old, and still wont lay eggs! They get layers pellets every morning, and get fruits and vegetables during the day. They have a pond, which they call all fit into, a snuggly warm house, places to shade, places to sit in the sun (not that we've had much lately) and always have fresh water. I even put a lot of effort into building them an egg box.. but they still wont lay!! CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!!! I bred the ducks myself and I wondered if this had any effect on it? Any help would be great. Thanks

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
k ratio of 1:4 or even 1:5. You also want to be careful that your drakes aren't "gang-mating" with your ducks, they could be injured or killed if this happens out on the open water.
