My Ducks Won't Swim?????

I have 6 ducks that are almost 11 weeks old (1 Pekin and 5 Caygua). I have had them since they were day old ducklings. I had them close to the house in their duck house with a plastic kiddie pool (they loved swimming in the kiddie pool). Last weekend I moved them and their house to the pond. They seem happy but WON'T SWIM or DRINK from the pond. Is this normal???? How do I get them to swim in the pond???

Do you have any preds under water like large mouth bass and snapping turtles. Ducks are prime targets for underwater preds feet and even bodies can be bitten off. Ducks can be drug under water and drowned and eaten by snapping turtles. Might want to check.

Yes, it's normal....The pond is something new...Once one gets brave enough, they will all follow....
