I put them in the incubator 21 days ago (at night). The eggs are staring to rock a little bit occasionally. I have been avoiding the bedroom to be honest, not sure if they are making a lot of noise. I am so excited that they might actually hatch but I know if I spend to much time in there I'll convience myself that its a good idea to candle the eggs. I know that is a bad idea.
I'm just so excited. When i put them in lock down all 12 had movement in the eggs. So wait and see :)
Also my dogs keep going and whining/barking at the bedroom door every hour or so. I think there must be some noise coming from the incubator that I cannot hear from out here that the dogs are hearing.

I have to add that my mom is being so silly. She thinks the eggs will hatch late because monday is a full moon. That they will wait and hatch during the full moon. Next time I'll have to plan the hatch so they hatch on a full moon for my mom.
This time I was trying for just before mothers day :)

I wish you best of luck..Our eggs should be hatching in two days..these will be our first hatched eggs..so fingers crossed! I'm so excited, I think it's gonna be a great feeling seeing them hatch and grow

still no babies. But there are still some wiggles in there when I talk to the eggs. Yes I go in there and say "chirp chirp chirp" I'm trying to encourage them to get out of their shells. I know they will hatch when ready. :)
I have had eggs in the past hatch 2 or 3 days late because of temp being slightly off, or humidity slightly to high. I will post pictures after they hatch. I only have a cellphone to take pictures with so the quality might not be the best.

I have one starting to hatch. I'm so exciting. I guess this means time to set up a brooder tote for it. I have one mostly set up. Just need to get the temp correct and put food/water in there. So exciting.

Sorry I haven't updated. been a busy day (zoo, visiting my husband in the hospital). Well Before going to the zoo one egg hatched. Left for the zoo came back to 3 chicks in the incubator. Went to visit my husband and came back to 5 chicks. Just checked and another is working out of it's shell. so far 6 healthy chicks. That is the good news.

Bad news- I think one chick died before it could completely hatch. Yesterday evening one pipped. Early morning (3 am) it had cracked the shell all the way around. but it still hasn't got out of the shell. I refuse to help a chick cause I don't know if it just pipped to early but isn't ready to get out, if it died, or if it has some horrible deformity that would cause it to suffer anyway.
