I have had a polish hen for about a month now I did not quarantine before putting with the rest of the flock and I had to separate some peckers a few days but everything has been going great the last few weeks I even saw her dust bath yesterday as well as eating and drinking and got up one the roost in her usual spot this morning dead under the roost ?? I checked her body no signs of anything unusual anyone have a clue as to what could have happened

Birds sometimes die suddenly and without warning. Unfortunately, they are masters at disguising ailments and weakness. They have to in order to survive in a flock where any weakness will get them ostracized and attacked. You will likely never know what caused your bird's death without a necropsy. You can contact your local extension office or your state lab to find out about these should you want to really know for sure what happened.

I am sorry for your loss.

Generally, there are at least a few signs of illness when an infectious disease is at work. It is likely something that was limited to just her. That being said- a good once over for all the birds is in order, as well as keeping an extra close eye on things for a week or two.

Good luck.
