Hi,
I know only you will understand... I came home to my favorite duck, Dodger, dead under the wooden fence that I had temporarily put to restrain my ducks to go on my terrasse...... I feel so guilty and sad She was full of personality, soft and delicate but sooooooo loud, omg, you knew when she was there, I just loved her.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Sometimes things happen that we just can't control. It's so hard. You loved her well and I hope that comforts you - so many ducks live hard lives and are unloved, but your girl was loved and that means so much

She was a lovely duck: i can see she was sassy and a character from the photo . It us so sad when we lose our feathered friends who have been cared for and loved as pets and family. Know she had a happy life. Give her a good burial, and remember the happy times.
