Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
Silver, our Silver Partridge Silkie cockerel is turning out to be my favorite out of all our chickens. I really love that he's not aggressive at all.
I can't wait to see what his future offspring will look like (despite the fact that they'll be mixed).
