Hi peeps,
Thought I would share some photos of my first brood, only got 3 chicks, a few more didnt make it out of the shell, I think the humidity was too high. oops.
One of my chicks is bigger and bossier than the others, I think he is a cockerel. place your bets!
This is my BO cockerel 'Kellogg', he is almost a year old here.
this is the bossy chick at about 2 weeks old, his wattle and crop are developing already!
they are feathering out nicely, I have switched them from infrared to white light at 2 1/2 weeks old.
here is a pic of one of my RIR - one of the six must be mommy!
I think my chicks are going to be just like daddy
