My first button egg!!

Oh no!! I was really hoping they would hold off on laying! I don't need any more buttons (I have 16 already!). I don't know if it was layed yesterday or today, since I didn't pay much attention to them yesterday. But I went to fill their waterers this morning and there it was, getting kicked all over the place by freaking-out button quail!!

So these guys are evidently going to be getting some boiled eggs for a snack now!

I'll have to eventually to make sure they are fertile, maybe I'll wait till it is warmer?
