Just watched my first chick come out of the egg 5 more that have a pip. I have not read anywhere yet and was wanting to know do the chicks need to have a light over the bator while they are hatching during the night? I can see that it is going to get noisy in the house when there are more out this one is really chirping hoping the others will get excited and start breaking out. But not sure if that makes any difference this one piped sometime during the morning and then nothing until the last 15 minutes. I'm glad we were up to see it was awesome.
