My first chick hatched by broody - picts

Thought I'd share a picture of my new little addition, hatched by my first ever broody hen:

The hen is an Australorp and the chick is an Andulusian.

One day old...

Three days old and checking out that big moving thing sitting out front of the rabbit hutch safely behind momma...

Three days old... telling momma a secret...

My daughter named the momma Keyblade and wants to name the baby Key.

Here's hoping it's a pullet ...

I guess that breed really is a broody one!
