my first chicken flock

Last monday I finally broke down and purchased my first flock from my local feed store. All hens. My new little herd consists of 2 Columbian rock crosses and 4 Deklab amberlinks. He never said anything about how old they were. So any guess are appreciated. The 2 CRC are lovingly named Turkey(by my bf who wanted a turkey) and Jesabelle. The 4 amberlinks are Rose, Sophia, Dorthey, and Blanche (love me some golden girls). Here they are last monday:

Sweet.. I got five pullets in March. They are 11 weeks away from laying. You'll get to experience them from chicks. It's a useful hobby.
