my first chicks day 2

My buff orpington is being left out. The other 2 will huddle together but when the buff comes over , the other 2 move away.Should I go back a get another buff to even out the numbers? Would that make her feel better?

poor baby i dont have any info for you as i am new to this and all 4 of mine seem to love each other ones a lot younger then the other 3 and they enclude her all the time. I know no help but i would say after all i have read if your going to add more you need to do it asap

thank you. Im glad yours is doing ok.
Well I will think about it and see how it goes for another day.
Maybe if I go back they will all be from the same group.
Even now 1 is in 1 corner and the other 2 is in the other corner.
Its just strange to me.. and it looks sad.

well I went and got another buff to go with the other, Now the numbers are equal.
I put a black band on the new buff. Everyone seems to be happy.
Tomorrow Im going to change them to the dog crate, and make 2 beds and see if they will pair up.

I have two white rock and two barred rock babies and one of the white rocks is always by herself. but she doesn't seem to mind.

she actually moves away from them at times. odd little chick.

well now the newest is the odd one, so Its up to them now I cant get more..
all they do is eat and sleep.
But there was a chase on this morning, a moth got in the tub with them.I saw one jump to get it and then the race was on.
Not sure which one got to eat it. But It was funny to see.
