My first coop. (New pic of todays progress on page 23)

I feel as though I'm failing my duties as the BYCPA president.. The run will be done tomorrow for sure. Especially since we picked up four more birds today.. All mutts, but pretty as can be.

chaoschicken, if you started by now you might just do that... I'm pretty set to bust out the roof shingles ASAP though.. I doubt I'll have it [roof] done tomorrow however.. Ah well.

I was going to work on the coop today but these guys hatched under my broody hen this morning.

I built this instead.

I thought this would provide a bit of protection for mommy and her babies while they grow up a little.

Almost forgot to add a pic of the real protection.

Cute nursery! I will have to try to remember it when I need to make one. That is if I ever get the main coop finished!
