My first Donkey

I just bought my first donkey Biggest animal I've ever owned for sure! She's about 9-10 months old. We haven't given her a name yet. She's going to live in our new pasture and *hopefully* guard our chickens and rabbits. (She was raised so far with mostly goats but they said they had her in with their chickens as well and she did great).



We're going to pick her up tomorrow! So excited. She's so cute.

I love her colorations, good luck and god bless with her. I'm sure she will do a fine job watching your flock. Just make sure to keep an eye on her, I've heard good and bad things about donkeys as livestock guardians.

She was so happy to be in the pasture she took off and did two laps of it then ran back and followed me all around. She checked out the tractor which just has our lone roo and sniffed it then moved on. The only concern I had is I couldn't get her to get close to her water, I might drive back over tonight and see if she did find it.
