I am a backyard raiser with 6 or so seasons of TSC chickens.
I just ordered my first batch of personally selected breed chicks.
Hopefully I will have a straight run of 10 Silver Gray Dorkings hatched on April 27th of 2020.
I'm very excited about this.
Any stories or info from anyone on this chick would be welcome. I love the idea of raising and promoting what is called "An Ancient Breed"

I used to breed them and we had a large flock then moved to a new farm which at the time wasn’t set up for chickens so this year I am starting my breeding flock of Dorking from scratch. We had great success with them as layers and meat birds for the ones we culled that didn’t meet our standards. You will like them!
