My first eggs went in today!

Hi all,
I started incubating my first eggs today!!!

7 buff silkies and 13 welsummers. Hopefully I'll be posting pics of baby fuzzbutts in a few wks.

Good luck! I'm on day 5 with my first hatch. I'll be watching for yours 5 days or so after mine!

I also started incubating my first set of eggs today (from Marie_Martin). We are using a stillair LG so I might need LOTS of luck. They are Silkies and Silkies Mixes (although I think her F stands for Faverolle? (spelling). We shall see..

I put them in between 5-6 so WHAT is considered Day 1? Today tomorrow? I want to know a date for Day 18 to take my turner out!

lisabug - thats when I put mine in! LOL I think tomorrow is day 1. It is a bit confusing. I'm guessing that gives them a day to warm up to incubating temps, and then u start counting? just a guess Good luck though!

The day you put the eggs in is day 0. The next day at the time you put them in, starts day 1.
