My first eggs!

I honestly thought it was too cold out for my silkies to start laying eggs.... I could hardly believe it when I found these in the corner of the coop (not in any of the 5 nest box's) this morning! They felt like they were frozen

Thanks everyone!! It was pretty exciting!! Now I'll just have to make sure to look in the corners of the coop

They are a creamy beige / baby pink color!

On here they've said not to worry about frozen eggs unless they've cracked.

And people are kinda divided if they have, either eat them right away or feed them to the animals.

That is the best feeling! My one RIR just started laying a week ago and so far her eggs are always in the same corner of the coop. Congrats!!!
