My first hatch....am I crazy??

I am on day sixteen of my first hatch.
I have 15 eggs in the bator.
What is so crazy is.......I am just so nervous about it.......
I am an RN and worked 22 years in ICU, ER and or Recovery....life and death situation and now I am nervous over my bator of eggs.
I so want a good hatch.
I see all the cute little ones from dipsy though out the forum.
I have tried my best to make sure all has gone well.
I have read thread after thread.....I have candled and check the bator throughout the day.
So Sunday is day 18 and the eggs go into the hatcher.....
I dreamed I only had two to hatch, but what was funny is they were the most beautiful birds I had ever seen.......one even had rhinestones.
I think I have enter the "chicken zone"..............

Been there....Id like to say it gets easier on your net hatch--but that would be a lie!! Good luck!

Yep - I've had 4 babies and hatching eggs is worse than waiting and worrying about your OWN babies!

I just hope I have some fluffies in the next 4-5 five days!!!
I will be so happy.
I can see where this could become addicting.
What do you do with all your pretty birds.....sale them.....keep them......??

Ahhhh, the joys of hatching! I can tel you, it does NOT get easier. LOL I am on my 3rd hatch since November! I worry over these little eggs almost every hour!
Oh, when you said you dreamed your chicken had rhinestones...I about spit my coffee everywhere! Too funy!! Thats some special chickie!!

heck. I am always nervous when I hatch. I am carful about touching the eggs as well. everytime I touch the bator I am scared that I moved an egg

Yep, Yep. My unprofessional diagnosis is that you have a severe case of chick fever. The only known cure for it as I understand it, is to HATCH SOME EGGS!!!!
