My first hatch of the season!

Yes, my first bluebird hatched! Hope you don't mind me sharing here! I'm excited. It is in the bluebird house with momma & pappa staying close!

Aww! They are cute little things! Also you may need to keep an eye for the invasive House Sparrows as they will kill the yound Bluebirds and the adults too

At about 4pm I peeked and saw that two other eggs had hatched. I assume by now they are all hatched. I am leaving them alone.. just peeked 2 x today. As of two days ago, there were 5 eggs, so don't know where the last one went.

Awesome!!!

I used to have them and when I did it was so rewarding thinking that I had helped to bring more of these beautiful birds into the world!!

Anymore tho I have too many yucky sparrows and no bluebirds. Everytime I put up a nestbox the sparrows would take it so I kinda lost hope of raising any more!!
