We only just got roosters this past fall, for protection (hawks). But I do believe my eggs are fertile. I am getting the itch to hatch some. Those pics will certainly push me over the edge. MyDH will KILL me! We have too many critters as it is!

But recently I advertised a couple of my roosters on Craigs because we have too many (balding hens). I got more inquiries for fertile eggs/chicks than I did for the roosters!

I know what you mean Barn Maid Ann about the roosters. No body seems too want roosters. My daughter had two of the prettiest big roosters that I have ever seen and could barely give them away. I been thinking about those roosters. Looks like someone would want roosters that pretty.
